Students from Silk Hope School had the incredible opportunity to attend a live performance by the North Carolina Symphony Orchestra! 🎻 Experiencing the power of live music firsthand brought classroom learning to life and introduced our students to this discipline of the performing arts. #OneChatham #ElevateChatham #TheHopeSoars

What an unforgettable night at Northwood! 🏀

Drake Powell came home tonight for his "Jersey in the Rafters" Ceremony (retiring his NHS #32 jersey), and the community showed up in full force for a packed house.

The energy in the building reflected the pride the ONE Chatham community has for one of its own. It was a powerful reminder of the tradition, excellence, and Charger pride that continue to define Northwood.

✨ Congratulations to our (belated due to weather) January Power of One recipient, Mr, Ernest Robinson from Northwood High. His nominator said:

"Mr. Robinson has quickly become one of the most dependable and important members of our school community, and the impact he has made in a short amount of time is something we are truly grateful for.

Mr. Robinson is a Vietnam War veteran who came out of retirement to work at Northwood because he wanted to stay active and continue serving others.

On any given day, you can find him wherever help is needed. He steps in as a substitute teacher, assists our test coordinator, works on irrigation lines, repairs mowers, and keeps things running behind the scenes. Just today he was in our gym fixing the lights on the back of our basketball goals so our teams could practice safely. He simply sees a need and takes care of it without any attention or recognition.

What stands out most is that Mr. Robinson never looks for credit. He doesn’t do anything for praise, he does it because he cares about our school and our students. He brings a work ethic, attitude, and level of service that make a real difference here every single day."
