☀️ SUN Bucks is Back!

SUN Bucks, a partnership between the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, provides grocery benefits to eligible families with school-aged children during the summer months. Some children automatically qualify, while others may need to apply. Please see the attached flyer for eligibility information.

Chatham County Schools, in partnership with Chatham Drug Free, is hosting a series of three virtual community conversations. These informal sessions welcome parents, caregivers, local professionals and community members who have questions about mental health services and substance use. Several local service providers will be available via Zoom to answer questions and engage in conversation. Participants are welcome to drop in for a few minutes or stay for the entire discussion.

The first event will take place on Tuesday, March 24, from 6:00–7:00 PM via Zoom. Spanish interpretation services will be available. For more information, visit the Chatham Drug Free website at www.chathamdrugfree.org/events or contact rob@chathamdrugfree.org.

🍀 1st grade enjoyed some seasonal fun yesterday by sorting and graphing Lucky Charms and thinking outside the box to create leprechaun traps...unfortunately no leprechauns were caught and they made quite a mess out of Ms. Smith's room avoiding the traps!
