Please help us welcome our new Music teacher, Miss M! 🐾 "Hi! My name is Miss M and I am so excited to teach music and band at Bennett. This is my 11th year teaching music. I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved down to North Carolina shortly after graduating College. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing my clarinet with local community bands, rock climbing, and hiking the many wonderful trails in the area. I look forward to a wonderful year of music making!"

I have a Degree in Early Childhood Education and am working to get my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education! I am married and have two beautiful girls. My oldest just started Kindergarten in the room next door! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and baking from scratch. I am so excited to be working at Bennett School, the same place I attended K-8th grade. It’s going to be a great year! "

Please help us welcome our new Art Teacher, Ms. Hannah! 🐾 "Hello All. I am Hannah Grass and I am the new art teacher at Bennett. I am so excited for a new school year. I was born and raised in Robeson County North Carolina and Moved to Siler City over the summer. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2018 and this is my 6th year teaching. I look forward to meeting you guys and teaching your kiddos!"

Up next for our new staff members, our new EC Teacher Brittany Petty! "Hey y'all! My name is Brittany Petty and I am the new EC Resource teacher. I serve at both Bonlee and Bennett. I spent 12 years in a general education classroom serving two different counties and four different grade levels. I am so blessed that I get to serve among some amazing teachers and staff at Bennett. I have been married for 12 years to my husband Adam and we have two children who will be attending Bennett as well. Easton, our oldest, is 9 and he loves to play baseball. Saylor, our youngest, is 5 and just loves to cheer on her brother. In my spare time I love spending time watching baseball or spending time around our family farm with our two dogs, Rhett and Chase. I believe that all children can learn and are capable of achieving great things. Up first is our new 5th grade teacher, Torry Barbery! "Hey y’all! My name is Torry Barbery and I am the new 5th Grade Teacher. I went to Bennett myself from Kindergarten to 8th Grade, so I am really excited to back in the halls of Bennett. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Sports Science/Coaching in the year of 2021. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my Aussie doodle Shiloh. I’m looking forward to a great school year!" Join us in welcoming Ms. Barbery back to Bennett School! 🐾
