Beck’s Bunch is learning about igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rock.  Students sorted rocks into groups and discussed their characteristics 🐾

Our 5th graders are putting science in motion with their Fan Carts Gizmo as part of their Force and Motion unit! 🐾

Yesterday was Office Administrative Day, and we are so thankful for Ms. Kim and Ms. Michelle at Bennett School for keeping the wheels turning every single day. Their hard work behind the scenes keeps our school running smoothly and our Panthers taken care of. So thankful for you both! 🐾

Our cafeteria has done it again with another perfect 100 sanitation score! Great job, Mrs. McNair and Ms. Pilson! Thank you for the care you put into feeding our Panthers each day and keeping them safe, healthy, and ready to learn 🐾

A big shoutout to our incredible Young Author's winners! We received so many amazing submissions from students all around the school, and were super proud of everyone who took part. A special congratulations to Brie Lindley, Jack Phillips, Leona Upchurch, and Easton Petty - you're invited to join at the district's Young Author's celebration in May! 🐾📚🏆

Coach Cook is feeling the birthday love at Bennett School today! From the thoughtful banner made by our 3rd grade class, middle school students, and his basketball and baseball teams while he’s subbing for Mrs. Pore during her maternity leave, it’s clear how much he is appreciated. Our 4th graders had a great day in Raleigh touring the Capitol and Legislative Building and seeing the Governor’s Mansion. We are proud of how they represented Bennett School! 🐾

8th Grade Panthers completed a fictional interview of a Holocaust Upstander for their EL Module 3 performance task. They also drew 6 graphic panels to "explode" a moment in their journey 🐾

Our 7th grade Panthers had a great time participating in the Banking Reality series with Coastal Credit Union! 🐾 Students were given a mock income and worked through real-life expenses like rent, groceries, and bills—learning just how important budgeting and smart financial choices are. Experiences like this help prepare our students for life beyond the classroom!

The Bennett 7th Grade Band will present their Spring Capstone Performance on Tuesday, April 28th from 5:30–7:00 PM at Chatham Central High School. Students should arrive no later than 5:00 PM and dress in concert black or spring attire.

Our band will perform alongside the CCHS Band and other surrounding middle schools, and participation from all band members is important for a successful performance.

We are excited to celebrate all of the hard work our musicians have put in this year. Be sure to mark your calendars and come out to support our Bennett band students! 🐾
