  • Due to the March 16 Closure:

    • No student make-up day required.

    • Traditional Schools: Optional Teacher Workday added June 18

    • Chatham Early College (CEC): Optional Teacher Workday added June 2

  • May Schedule Changes:

    • May 1: No school for students (Annual Leave Day for staff)

    • May 22: Early Release Day for Traditional Schools / CEC staff workday (CEC students already finished)

Leadership Chatham, a signature program of the Chatham Chamber of Commerce, gives participants the opportunity to gain firsthand insight from local experts on the key issues shaping our community. For the month of April, participants explored the education sector in Chatham County Schools and at CCCC.

As part of the experience, participants visited Siler City Elementary, Virginia Cross Elementary, and Jordan-Matthews High School; exploring unique school club programs, learning about our 5-Star Pre-K offerings in Chatham County Schools, as well as Dual Language and AVID pathways that support student success beyond CCS. #OneChatham #ElevateChatham
