The JM Student Council is sponsoring a turkey hunt and Tom the Turkey has been found! Congratulations to Griselda Escobar for locating Tom in his library hiding spot! Tom will hide again soon for one more chance to win a prize!

Congratulations to Stacy Duran Moreno who has received the Jaime Leon Youth Award (Logro Juvenil), a financial stipend awarded to two graduating high school seniors in recognition of their academic achievements, leadership, and dedication to community service. This award is given at the Latino Diamante Arts Award Ceremony every year and Stacy was recognized at the ceremony on November 8th. This year Latino Diamante Arts celebrated their 25th year and Stacy was given a new Dell computer and $1,000 to put toward her future.

Congratulations to the JM actors in the companies of “Carl Flunt Would Protect You From Trucks” and "Conflict" for being honored at the regional 2025 NCTC High School Play Festival with the Theater Arts Award for Messaging and for Audience Engagement, respectively!

Also, congratulations to Hunter Scott who was honored with an Outstanding Achievement in Acting award for his performance as Protagonist in JM’s production of “Conflict.”
