If you are interested in state education issues, advocating on behalf of your peers and serving as an advisor to decision-makers in K-12 education, this council is for you! As a member of the Student Advisory Council, you will meet virtually each month and serve a two-year term that concludes at the end of your senior year.

Congratulations to Stacy Duran Moreno who has received the Jaime Leon Youth Award (Logro Juvenil), a financial stipend awarded to two graduating high school seniors in recognition of their academic achievements, leadership, and dedication to community service. This award is given at the Latino Diamante Arts Award Ceremony every year and Stacy was recognized at the ceremony on November 8th. This year Latino Diamante Arts celebrated their 25th year and Stacy was given a new Dell computer and $1,000 to put toward her future.
