Thanks to the generous support of our CGE community, our PTA has provided supplemental books for all of our 3rd–5th grade classes!

Each class received a fresh stack of books for the quarter, giving students more choice and voice during their accountable independent reading time in the ELA ALL Block. These texts are carefully connected to each grade level’s ELA module for the quarter, helping students expand their knowledge while building literacy skills.

We are so grateful for our PTA and community for helping us grow lifelong readers! 🧡💚

Our Kindergarten and 1st Grade classes are doing an amazing job with our new ELA curriculum! This knowledge-building program helps students grow their literacy skills in fun, hands-on ways.

Today, our Kindergarteners sorted their toys by attributes — color, size, shape, and texture as part of their unit on building literacy in a collaborative classroom through toys and play.

We’re so proud of the curiosity and collaboration happening in our classrooms every day! 🧡💚

At this month’s Staff Meeting, we ELEVATED growth by celebrating our progress with our 24–25 accountability data, completing safety training, and diving into how MTSS drives school improvement. K-5 parents/guardians are invite to attend our Curriculum Night on Tuesday, September 23rd. Come out and meet with your child's teacher to learn about curriculum expectations, classroom routines, grading, assessments, field trips, volunteer opportunities, and more. Pick the time slot of your choice, both sessions will share the same information. 🧡💚

Congratulations to our Gators that were the first to receive a Positive Office Referral this school year! Our Gators are off to a great start chomping into great choices! 🧡💚

We are proud of our amazing students and staff! We met expected growth and earned a School Performance Grade of a B for the 2024-2025 school year! Our overall School Performance Score increased 5 points from the previous year. We are excited to build on this momentum and keep growing together throughout this school year! 🧡💚

Our library is open for circulation! Students are already diving into shelves of stories, knowledge, and adventure. 📖✨ We love seeing their excitement as they discover new books.
