Dance will be on March 6th in the PHE Gym. It will be from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm. This is a Family event for PHE students only. PHE students must be accompanied by an adult-please no drop-offs. All younger siblings are welcome to join. Student price is $5 a ticket. There will be snacks/water available-while supplies last. They will be $1/ per snack/water. Exact change is encouraged. Rising 6th grade registration for the Margaret B. Pollard band program is open! Band is a class during the regular school day at Pollard and does not interfere with sports or other school clubs/activities. All 5th grade students going to Pollard are eligible to take band regardless of ability or financial status. Students interested in band must start in 6th grade. Register in the month of February! The band instrument rental meeting will take place on MARCH 26TH. Join the Disneyland of school! Become a Bandalorian! Chatham County Schools will operate on a remote learning day for students and staff on Monday, January 26, 2026. Perry Harrison Staff members, and/or homeroom teachers will be reaching out by 8:30 am, tomorrow, with specifics regarding your student’s remote learning day via their typical communication platforms. Our specialist team has created a Specials Choiceboard for Art, Music, PE, Library, Music, and CARE fun! Be sure to schedule some time to have fun in the snow, too!

Who’s ready for the Kids Heart Challenge! WE ARE!! Over the next 2 weeks, our school will have fun working together to raise money for the American Heart Association (and our PHS Physical Education program), promoting healthy hearts and continuing to learn about the value of physical activity!
*** Last year we earned over $1,400 in PE & Field Day equipment thanks to YOUR generosity to the Kids Heart Challenge!!
Students can earn their own “Puppy Heart Hero” backpack key chains (and much more) this year by JOINING US HERE to sign up and raise money online, OR by using the mobile app (download the “AHA Schools” app)! Just for signing up to save lives, your child will earn a FREE wristband!
Students may pick up their “Heart Hero” keychains first thing each morning from Ms. Bowling at the gym! Remaining thank you gifts will be ordered at the end of our event. All donations to the American Heart Association are due by Friday, February 13th!

Northwood is hosting a Sweetheart Dance Saturday February 21, 2026 from 6pm-8pm in the school's gymnasium. The dance is for girls and boys ages 14 and under. This year we are inviting girls to bring the special male in their life. It can be a father, uncle, grandfather, or another man special in their life. Boys can bring their mother, aunt, grandmother or another special woman in their life. We will have a DJ and will provide snacks and refreshments. The cost of the dance is $30 per couple. Each additional child is $5.00. Please fill out the form below if you plan to attend.
