Our 7th grade students enjoyed a fun field trip to NC State, where our very own NC State alumna, Mrs. Morrison, gave a personalized tour! They also had special access to see Reynolds Coliseum and the softball field, where they spoke with Mr. Shaner’s daughter, Carson, a coach for the team, as well as player Kendall Weil (#44). Congrats to this month's Bonlee Power of One winner, Taylor Campbell. Mrs. Donnald said that Taylor is a kind and compassionate person who goes out of her way to support other teachers when they are having a difficult time. She has great rapport with her students and their families and she is always brainstorming creative ways to engage students and get them to grow academically. #onechatham #dragonsonfireb#ElevateChatham

Chatham County Schools, in partnership with Chatham Drug Free, is hosting a series of three virtual community conversations. These informal sessions welcome parents, caregivers, local professionals and community members who have questions about adolescent mental health services and substance use. Several local service providers will be available via Zoom to answer questions and engage in conversation. Participants are welcome to drop in for a few minutes or stay for the entire discussion.
