For the past two years, Mackayla has been Mr. Stan’s trusted “spotter” on the bus, helping him safely make turns and back in and out of places. Her willingness to step up and serve others is a perfect example of the strong relationships that make Bennett School special.
Mackayla’s dedication is also a reminder that every job in a school matters. From the classroom to the cafeteria, the office to the bus lot, it takes all of us working together to support our students each day. Thank you, Mackayla, for being a helping hand and showing what it means to be a Bennett Panther! 🐾🚌
This year was filled with learning, growth, achievements, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. We are so proud of our students, thankful for our dedicated staff, and grateful for the families and community members who support Bennett School each and every day.

This group has shown incredible resilience throughout their school journey. They experienced the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic during some of their elementary school years, yet they continued to grow, learn, and persevere. Their determination has brought them to this exciting milestone.
We are so proud of all they have accomplished during their time at Bennett School. As they leave the Panther family and begin their next adventure as Chatham Central Bears, we know they will continue to do great things. Congratulations, graduates! Once a Panther, always a Panther 🐾🎓
As we celebrate this milestone, we're also incredibly thankful for our Pre-K families and our community. Last Summer, so many people came together and worked tirelessly to keep our Pre-K program alive, and because of that, these students had the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive at Bennett School.
Congratulations, graduates! We can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll do as future Panthers.
As a K-2 group, our students achieved an incredible 92% proficiency rate in literacy. We are so proud of our young learners for the hard work, determination, and growth they have shown throughout the year.
This success would not be possible without the dedication of our K-2 teachers and instructional assistants, who work tirelessly each day to support, encourage, and inspire our students. Their commitment to helping every child grow as a reader is making a lasting difference.

While we're certainly not ready to see Ms. Kim and Mrs. Shaner go, we are incredibly thankful for the many years they have devoted to Chatham County Schools and the students, families, and staff of Bennett School.
