Mrs. Johnson's middle schoolers were challenged to design, build, and crash an egg-carrying paper car to determine the most crashworthy design. Students tested their paper cars today! 🐾🚘










Today, Bennett School’s 8th graders had an exciting visit to UNCG! They explored campus life, learned about college opportunities, and got a glimpse of their future! 🐾


March 24th Newsletter


7th Grade is working in the "Bodyworks" Science Kit on this fine Friday. We are learning that the bones of the human skeleton are living tissue, grow and change, support and protect our organs, and produce blood cells. After a lot of tape, they are looking great! 🐾






Congratulations to Bennett School's Instructional Assistant of the year, Melanie Way! 🐾


6th graders built structures for the "Earthquake Shake Table Test" in the Earth’s Crust Science kit. Some students enjoyed eating the materials! 🐾🥼

Read Across America Week was a huge success! Our students enjoyed visits from special guest readers and participated in exciting reading activities that made literacy come to life. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so special! 📖










For Read Across America Week, Pre-K did a Dr. Seuss Book Championship! Student's determined that their favorite Dr. Seuss book was Cat in the Hat! 📚



Mrs. Hicks' First Grade Class published a book and had an Author Celebration Friday! Thank you to all parents who helped them celebrate these AMAZING authors! 📚🐾

Statewide Tornado Drill Success! 🌪️ Today, we participated in the statewide tornado drill! These drills help ensure everyone knows how to stay safe in the event of severe weather. We’re proud of our school for responding quickly and efficiently!
