"Hey y'all! My name is Brittany Petty and I am the new EC Resource teacher. I serve at both Bonlee and Bennett. I spent 12 years in a general education classroom serving two different counties and four different grade levels. I am so blessed that I get to serve among some amazing teachers and staff at Bennett. I have been married for 12 years to my husband Adam and we have two children who will be attending Bennett as well. Easton, our oldest, is 9 and he loves to play baseball. Saylor, our youngest, is 5 and just loves to cheer on her brother. In my spare time I love spending time watching baseball or spending time around our family farm with our two dogs, Rhett and Chase. I believe that all children can learn and are capable of achieving great things.

"Hey y’all! My name is Torry Barbery and I am the new 5th Grade Teacher. I went to Bennett myself from Kindergarten to 8th Grade, so I am really excited to back in the halls of Bennett. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Sports Science/Coaching in the year of 2021. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my Aussie doodle Shiloh. I’m looking forward to a great school year!"
