Try reading together for 15 minutes a night, listening to audiobooks in the car, taking a trip to the local library, finding a book walk around town, or downloading apps with digital texts.

Thanks to #NCLearningHappensHere, our fifth graders were granted the opportunity of visiting the Fort Fisher Aquarium on their field trip today. Students saw and interacted with a variety of species that live in ocean habitats. 🐠 #onechatham
5th grade "seas"ed the day with a trip to Carolina Ocean Studies at Kure Beach. After a quick boat ride to a nearby island, students learned about seashells, crabbing, snails, and ocean habitats with hands-on experiences that they'll not soon forget. ⛴️ #onechatham
