First graders are hard at work on building their fluency! Did you know that you can support your child's reading fluency at home too? Try reading together for 15 minutes a night, listening to audiobooks in the car, taking a trip to the local library, finding a book walk around town, or downloading apps with digital texts.

These authors were "write" on with their story submissions for the Young Authors competition at NCE, and we look forward to penciling in their attendance at the countywide competition next! 📝 #onechatham

Ms. Lloyd's passion for special education shines from the inside out, and we are excited to share that she was named the CCS EC Spotlight Staff Member of the Month. Ms. Lloyd sees the possibilities as she serves our kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th graders with EC services. ✨ #onechatham

Our kindergartners danced their way through the day along with Oscar Garcia from Colibrí Dance Movement as part of their social studies unit on cultural practices in communities around the world. Many thanks to our PTA for providing this meaningful experience to our students! 💃🏽🕺🏾#onechatham
