It is imperative that your child have their schedule prior to the start of the school year, especially for Freshmen Orientation and Open House when you and your student can walk their schedule and visit their new teachers. Below are the tentative dates for schedule pick up:
Senior Students
Pick Up Dates: August 4 and 5
Pick Up Times: Schedules can be picked up between 8:00-11:30 and 1:00-4:00.
Underclassmen Students
Pick Up Dates: August 6 and 7
Pick Up Times: Schedules can be picked up between 8:00-11:30 and 1:00-4:00.
During schedule pick up students should review their schedules to be sure they are in the correct classes. Schedule changes during schedule pick up will be limited and will occur for the following reasons:
- The student has an incomplete schedule
- The student is in a course without having the prerequisite
- The student is in a course they have previously taken
- The student has a course load that is unbalanced (ex. all core classes and no electives)
Important Note: During schedule pick up, counselors will be available on a limited basis as they work to give out schedules and to fix any known issues. Counselors can meet with students who have other concerns or questions after the schedule pick up dates. They are unavailable before then due to the fact that two-thirds of the team does not work during the summer months and will not be available to respond to email or meet in-person.
