Our students have been diving into library rules, exploring fiction & nonfiction books, and celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. The Moncure Book Mobile continues to bring reading joy to elementary students, while our 8th graders are helping younger peers discover great books!

March Madness has begun at Moncure! While staff members might be choosing their favorite teams, students are choosing their favorite Fairy Tales in elementary and Poems in middle school. Let the games begin!

Moncure's First Graders got to spend some time at Perry Harrison today learning about soil and excavating for rocks and sharks' teeth! We enjoyed getting to make new friends and explore.
Moncure is creating a culture of reading. Middle school library assistants take a cart into the elementary hall every morning, and Mrs. Norman allows students to check out books before school. What a great way to celebrate "Read Across America Week!"
