Chatham County Schools, in partnership with Chatham Drug Free, is hosting an informal session on the topic of adolescent mental health and substance use. We welcome parents, caregivers, local professionals and community members who have questions. Several local service providers will be available via Zoom to answer questions and engage in conversation. Participants are welcome to drop in for a few minutes or stay for the entire discussion. Join us on Tuesday, May 26th, from 6:00–7:00 PM via Zoom. Spanish interpretation services will be available.

K8 and middle school EOGs begin on 5/28, and regular high school EOCs begin on 6/1. The full exam calendar is available online at www.chatham.k12.nc.us/page/academic-calendars.

Families, please remind students to:
🛌 get plenty of rest,
🍳 eat a healthy breakfast,
⏰ arrive on time, and

Chatham County Schools is partnering with Piedmont Health to offer mobile dental services on campus during the 2025–2026 school year — so students get care without missing class. Services include: exams, cleanings, fillings, X-rays, sealants, and fluoride treatments. TalkingPoints provides an additional and easier way for families to communicate with teachers, coaches, or administrators and vise versa. Students and parents may receive notifications via SMS Text, using the TalkingPoints Families app, or using the website at https://families.talkingpts.org.
