Today, students and staff at George Moses Horton Middle School got a special surprise, Superintendent Dr. Anthony Jackson stopped by to serve the Holiday Feast lunch!
With a smile (and a serving spoon), Dr. Jackson jumped right in to help celebrate the season of gratitude with our school community. Moments like these remind us that leadership is about showing up, especially when there's turkey and joy to share. 💙

Today, our fifth graders got to meet Alan Gratz, the bestselling author of Refugee, Ground Zero, and many more favorites! He visited to talk about his brand-new book, War Games, was just released last Tuesday.
Each fifth grader received their very own signed copy of War Games, thanks to AIMS, a nonprofit founded by a donor who grew up right here in Chatham County and loves supporting our local schools.
