Good Evening Mariner Families,

We had a great week this week! We had Unity Day, and Dr. Jackson, our very own superintendent, made a school visit! Our students learned how to be the “I” in Kind, and we continued our One School, One Book initiative! We also had DEAR time, Drop Everything, and Relax!

Breakfast Car Riders
If your student is a car rider and you would like them to eat breakfast, please try to have them at school at 7:50 am. This will help ensure they have time to eat breakfast before 8:00 instruction begins.

PTA News
We hope to see you all at the Fall Festival tomorrow, October 21st from 3-6pm on the fields behind the school!  Many activities are free, and other activities and food will be available for 1 ticket or $1 each.  Each Perry Harrison student will receive 7 free tickets, and an extra free ticket can be earned with a non-perishable food donation for our Fuel Up program.  Additional tickets can be purchased at the welcome table, and cash is preferred in case the wifi is spotty.  Maple View Ice Cream will be available for purchase for $5.  Don't miss the fun!

We are excited to welcome parent volunteers into our cafeteria during lunchtime beginning October 26th. Thank you for your patience as we established cafeteria norms and procedures. All cafeteria volunteers must be an approved volunteer with Chatham County Schools. Here is a reminder about our nutrition policy.

Remember, all students get free breakfast this year! Make sure you take advantage of this excellent opportunity!

Staff Wish List
Another great way to treat our staff year-round is to stock the breakroom with needed supplies.  You can purchase items off the wishlist to be shipped directly to the school.  Your donations are appreciated!

Field Trips/Cafeteria
Please register for School Cash if you haven't done so- This will be used for field trips, outstanding lunch balances, and student fees.

Volunteer Opportunities
Parents and guardians, please make sure that you fill out a volunteer form. They must be completed each school year. Please find the link to the volunteer application in your email or on the Perry Harrison website. We look forward to partnering with parents and guardians again in various volunteer capacities as we have in the past.

You can find information and opportunities between weekly parent calls, on our Perry Harrison website, PTA Facebook page, and Twitter Page.

Have an amazing weekend!
