Perry Harrison Social Media/PTA Social Media
Please follow us and the Perry Harrison PTA on social media if you are a Facebook or Twitter user. We would love to increase our presence on social media to get the word out about our amazing school!! Let’s keep up the great news about our school!

Educational Leave Requests
This year, our protocol for Educational Leave Requests will include a conversation with our Social Worker, Hilary Cissokho, completed paperwork, and then approval from Mrs. Breedlove.

Staff Wish List
Another great way to treat our staff year-round is to stock the breakroom with needed supplies.  You can purchase items off the wishlist to be shipped directly to the school.  Your donations are appreciated!

PTA News
We have just one more week of the Support Our Students fundraiser. So far we've raised $8.957.

Our school-wide participation is not as high as it was last year, so we need everyone who is able to dig deep next week so we can close out our once a year fundraiser with a big success.

If you haven't given yet, please click here to give, and share the link or QR code with friends and family.

Every dollar you raise or contribute goes directly to making our school better. Your contributions will help us conduct science lessons and observations outdoors, build teamwork and community, and give students needed time for exercise so they can be their best in the classroom

Speaking of community, here's a big shout-out to the families and kids who made and sold native plants and crafts this afternoon, especially Deena Class and her daughter Amelia, who organized this great event. They were joined by McKenzie Wood, Beatrice and Harriet Allen, Noah Taylor, Betty Sandefur, Arley Ricker, and Pepper Wezyk. Thanks so much to these Mariners for their hard work!

District News
Fall Family Fest- Excellence and Opportunity in partnership with Hispanic Liaison and Communities in Schools will host a parent academy night. The Fall Family Fest will take place on Thursday, October 5th from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Jordan-Matthews High School. This event will feature sessions in both Spanish and English. We will have sessions for parents, door prizes, food, community partners, and activities for children. Here is the flyer to share with families. Thank you!-Jayme McPhatter

Field Trips/Cafeteria
Please register for School Cash if you haven't done so- This will be used for field trips, outstanding lunch balances, and student fees.

Volunteer Opportunities
Parents and guardians, please make sure that you fill out a volunteer form. They must be completed each school year. Please find the link to the volunteer application in your email or on the Perry Harrison website. We look forward to partnering with parents and guardians again in various volunteer capacities as we have in the past.

You can find information and opportunities between weekly parent calls, on our Perry Harrison website, PTA Facebook page, and Twitter Page.

Have an amazing weekend!
