Good Evening Mariner Families,

Here are your important dates to remember.

September 4th- Labor Day (No School for Staff and Students)
September 17th- PTA Work Day 1-3 p.m. Cole Park PTA
September 18th- PTA Work Night 6:30-8:30 p.m. Cole Park PTA
September 22nd Required Teacher Workday (No School for Students)
September 25th Optional Teacher Workday (No School for Students)

Please enjoy a first day of school read-aloud linked in your email by Ms. Breedlove!

Code of Civility
Please find a link to the Code of Civility from our district in your parent email. Once you have reviewed it, please complete the parent acknowledgment handed out at Meet the Teacher and return it in your child’s folder.

Monday, August 28th, will be the student’s first day of school. Car rider drop-off begins at 7:30 a.m., and school begins promptly at 7:55. Please be patient, as traffic during the first few school days will be heavy. You can help us by dropping your child off in the car rider line and displaying car tags in the afternoon.

If you choose to do so, you are welcome to walk your child down to class on the first day. However, please transition them quickly to their teacher to ensure teachers can monitor students safely and greet them at the door.

Parents and guardians, please make sure that you fill out a volunteer form. They must be completed each school year. Please find the link to the volunteer application in your email or on the Perry Harrison website. We look forward to partnering with parents and guardians again in various volunteer capacities as we have in the past.

Please be aware that parents/guardians will not be allowed to eat lunch with students until after the first quarter of school. We will be working to establish cafeteria routines and procedures during this time. Thank you for your understanding, and more information will be forthcoming.

You can find information and opportunities between weekly parent calls on our Perry Harrison website, PTA Facebook page, and Twitter Page.

We look forward to seeing everyone soon!
