Good evening Mariner Families,

My name is Waelynn and I am part of the student fundraising committee and here is your Wednesday Night Top 2 Things to know  about upcoming school events.

1. We had an awesome kickoff assembly to get everyone excited about our SOS Fundraiser.  Donations are already coming in strong, and we welcome everyone's participation between now and October 7th.  Details on the fundraiser and how to give can be found  here.  In addition to the school-wide and classroom incentives students are earning, don't forget that each student who receives at least one donation is entered into the weekly prize drawings that will take place each Friday for the next three weeks.  Getting your donations in this week will mean your child will have a chance to win in all of the drawings for gift certificates from Pittsboro Toys, surprise gift packages from Ali Cat Toys, and special experiences like lunch with a staff person of your choice or 1/2 music, PE, principal assistant.  Keep those donations coming in, and next week we will have a spirit week!  We will have Book Character/Decade Day on Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, PJ Day on Thursday, and Dress for Success/Picture Day on Friday!
2. Don’t forget that Monday, September 26th is a teacher workday. This means no school for students.
