Good evening Mariner Families,
This is Ms. Doty with your Wednesday night Top 4 things to know about upcoming school events.
- Thank you for your patience while we worked out some of the kinks in our afternoon car-rider lanes. After observing the lines and talking with both parents and staff members, here is how we will move forward with afternoon car-rider:
Parents can form two lanes beginning at 2:30 at the end of the sidewalk. This allows parents or other visitors to still pull around if needed (emergencies or late pick-ups). We will have cones out and signage to guide parents. There is also a map included in an attachment to this message. At 2:55 a staff member will come out to guide traffic to merge lanes.
- Just a few days left to donate to the PTA No Fuss Fundraiser and earn your chance to win some great raffle prizes! Make your donation in any amount by April 26th to help the PTA reach its $3500 goal. If we reach our goal, the PTA will treat all students and staff to extra recess and ice cream! 100% of money raised stays within Perry Harrison to support our staff and students. As a thank you for your support, donors will receive one raffle entry per each $10 contributed. Check out all the raffle prize options and make your donation via the information packet that went home in last week's take-home folders or by visiting phspta.org.
- Have you registered your student for FREE virtual BINGO Night on Tuesday, April 27th at 6:30pm via Zoom? Register by April 23rd so your BINGO materials can be sent home ahead of the event. Some awesome prizes are up for grabs to Bingo winners and the raffle drawings will take place following Bingo.
- Get your spring family photos taken and support the PHS PTA at the same time! Heather Varner from Five Feathers Photography will be doing 15 minute mini photo sessions in Fearrington Village for PHS families May 1-2.
