Good evening Mariner Families,
This is Ms. Doty with your Wednesday night Top 2 things to know about upcoming school events.
1. With more students returning to school, we have a NEW CARPOOL PATTERN for morning drop-off. Please read the email version of this message for more details. We will have staff members at car-rider tomorrow morning to help with this new pattern.
Kindergarten - 2nd Families: Upon entering our parking lot, you will take the inner lane and turn left at the first curved driveway. You will then continue, as normal, all the way up to the top of the carpool lane for drop-off. Cones will direct the way. Please make sure everyone in the car is wearing a mask.
3rd - 5th Families: Upon entering our parking lot, you will take the outer lane and continue along the big loop until you stop at the doors near the Gym to drop-off. Please remember to not exit your car until we have received your COVID Attestation Form and taken your child's temperature. Please make sure everyone in the car is wearing a mask.
***If you have children in both age ranges, please use the inner K-2 lane for drop-off!
AFTERNOON CARPOOL - Please form a single-file car line along the big loop as you wait your turn to pick up your child.
2. Ms. Lindley, our school nurse, has an important message for all of our families at PHS.
Hello Parents, my name is Kayly Lindley. I am the school nurse for Perry Harrison Elementary School. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has worked hard to keep our students and staff safe while at school. Some things to point out and make note of:
If your child has the following symptoms, PLEASE DO NOT send them to school because we will be calling and sending them home unless we have a medical note stating why they have these symptoms and have the appropriate treatment plan.
- New Cough
- Shortness of Breath
- Fever of 100.4 or greater
- New loss of taste or smell
Another rule is if your child is being tested for COVID or someone in the household is being tested for COVID, please do not send your child to school but email me or call the school to speak with me about returning to school.
If you have any questions about these symptoms or even if you should send your child to school based on any sickness they may have, please reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org
