Update: New School Nutrition Pricing

Update: New School Nutrition Pricing

In June the School Nutrition Department sent a proposal to increase meal prices for both breakfast and lunch for the coming 2019-2020 school year, which was approved by the CCS School Board on June 10. Please find the summary below:

Each year the USDA requires School Food Authorities to complete a Paid Lunch Equity Tool to determine if the district's meal pricing is equal to the free reimbursement meal rate.  This tool dictates if we have to raise our meal pricing.

For school year 2019-2020, the meal pricing will be increased to the following amounts:

Breakfast $1.50 (free & reduced students are no charge at breakfast)

Lunch $3.00 (full-pay student)

Lunch $0.40 (reduced student)
