“I am incredibly humbled and excited to partner with the students, staff, and community of Seaforth High School as we continue to build a culture that is bold, courageous, and strong,” St.Clair said. “I am truly proud to be part of the Hawk family and to further the standard of excellence established on Day One.”
Chatham County Schools Superintendent Dr. Anthony Jackson said St.Clair will be a strong asset for both Seaforth and Chatham County Schools.
“Dr. St.Clair has demonstrated outstanding leadership over the course of his career as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal,” Jackson said. “With those achievements, he will be an excellent fit at Seaforth. We are delighted to have his experience and leadership in Chatham County Schools.”
The Board of Education also approved Zack Chutz to become one of the new assistant principals at Seaforth. He was an assistant principal at Northwood High School from 2017-2020, and most recently served as assistant principal at Pittsboro Elementary School.
“Seaforth has been cultivating a great environment for students and staff since their opening in 2021,” Chutz said. “I am excited to join the team and contribute to that success. Go Hawks!”
Dr. Jackson believes Chutz will bring his trademark energy and passion to Seaforth High.
“Mr. Chutz has added unparalleled energy and enthusiasm to Chatham County Schools,” Jackson said. “We are so lucky that he will be able to work with Dr. St.Clair to further energize and celebrate the Seaforth community.”
