District picks up awards for effective communications

GREENSBORO — Chatham County Schools (CCS) earned five Blue Ribbon Awards for Effective School Communications and Public Relations from the North Carolina School Public Relations Association (NCSPRA) during the 2018-19 school year. NCSPRA recognized 31 school districts and handed out 303 awards during the organization’s annual awards brunch and ceremony back in February at the O. Henry Hotel.

CCS earned gold awards for electronic media and excellence in writing. The district secured silver awards for image/graphic design, publications and special events/programs.
