Bray's proof in pupils during state SkillsUSA competition

 

GREENSBORO — Northwood High SchoolGarland Bray educator Garland Bray is the SkillsUSA North Carolina Adviser of the Year for secondary education. 

 

His students had an impact during the organization's statewide competition in April:

  • Lauren Tedder, first place, entry-level carpentry 
  • Mathew Briggs, first place, carpentry 
  • Derek Cohen, first place, job interviewing
  • Jessica Crain, third place, nursing assistance
  • Andrew Wheeler, fifth place, first aid and CPR
  • John Wilson, second place, restaurant service

"I had other students who did not place but, nevertheless, represented Chatham County with pride," Bray said.
