Jets refueling by recycling one bottle at a time
SILER CITY — The whole idea of you are what you eat maybe ought to be restated along the lines of whether folks understand what they're eating when they don't recycle, according to Jordan-Matthews High School freshman Yaritza Camacho-Monter and sophomore Jacquelinne Marroquin.
During state-level competition for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America in early April in Greensboro, Camacho-Monter and Marroquin placed third in the Illustrated Talk category with their project on recycling water bottles.
