Central Has 14 FBLA Students Qualify to Compete at Nationals
Greensboro, NC, March 17, 2016: On March 17, 2016, the North Carolina FutureBusiness Leaders of America (FBLA) Leadership Conference concluded with its competition awards ceremony. Chatham Central High School had 14 individuals qualify to compete at the FBLA National Leadership Conference this summer in Atlanta, Georgia.
The winners, pictured below, are:
• Chase Gaines and Shelton Burke – 1st in Introduction to Business Presentation
• Marissa Gentry – 1st in Introduction to Business
• Tanner Henson, Nick Oldham, and Victoria Collins – 2nd in Business Plan
• Katherine Little, Matt Shaw, and Tyson Measamer – 2nd in Public Service Announcement
• Chase Mashburn – 3rd in Introduction Financial Calculations
• Emily Moore and Cassi Maness – 3rd in Emerging Business Issues
• Abby Buchanan and Eden Bennett – 4th in Graphic Design
Chatham Central High School FBLA chapter had 36 out of its 49 members compete at this year’s state conference.
