Bobby Dixon, Principal
SAGE Academy is Chatham County's non-traditional high school offering a 22-credit diploma. Our school is comprised of students from the 3 traditional high schools in Chatham County. Our focus is on providing a smaller environment therefore, providing a lower teacher to student ratio. Our goal is to provide a Project Based Learning approach which allows our students to engage in relative hands-on projects and prepare them for the workforce and/or community college.
SAGE Academy Application Process
Principals, counselors, and parents can refer prospective candidates to the SAGE Academy Admissions Committee. The referring school MUST complete their portion of the student application. Once student applications and the school referral packet are completed, please submit to the counseling department at SAGE Academy for consideration and review.
The SAGE Academy Admissions Committee will then conduct student interviews with parents present. Referring school personnel may be asked to attend interviews. The committee will conduct interviews twice a year: end of the school year; prior to the spring semester. Mid-semester referrals may be considered based on availability.
If you are interested in sending your child to SAGE, please see your current principal or guidance counselor to begin the referral process.
