Congratulations to the M.B. Pollard Quill Teams for their outstanding performance in the Eastern Regional contest.
The Quill is a state-wide writing competition in which teams of four students must create written products given a prompt from each of four text types.
The Varsity team placed second (by only 0.05 of a point!) and have been invited to the State championship on December 3, 2022 at Smith Middle School in Chapel Hill, N.C.
The JV team came in first!!!! And are ready to step in to their varsity roles next year either here at Pollard or in high school.
We are very proud of the effort and skill that these students showed while representing our school so admirably.
For more information, visit the Pollard team's website:
The Parent Portal allows all Chatham County Schools families the opportunity to view their students' grades in an easy to use website.
Parents are asked to complete a parent verification process before accessing their student's grade and schedule information via the Parent Portal. This is a one-time process and will need only to be completed in subsequent years if families enroll new students within Chatham County Schools.
Click the link below to access instructions for the parent verification process.

Athletic Gap is a way for your kids to stay at school (supervised) until game time on days when Pollard has home games. (READ: one less trip for you to make shuttling your kid!) The cost for Athletic GAP is $2, and does not include the admission price to the game. Softball and soccer games are free admission. Basketball games cost $4. The Boosters Club sells concessions at games, so your child may want to bring extra money for that as well.
Every year, Pollard Band Director, Michele Reams, encourages her band students to go to the esteemed UNCG Summer Music Camp. This year, a record number of 35 Pollard band students attended the camp.
