This message is intended ONLY for those students who will be reentering school next week.
On the first day your child returns to school, they must bring a signed copy of the attached CCS Attestation Form. You may send this with your child on the bus, or you may hand it to us through your window if your child is a car rider. We only need you to give us page 1 (the signature page).
If you are not able to print this form from home, you can get one from the box out front of school between now and Sunday evening.
Again, my understanding is that this is a one-time document. Please be prepared with it on your child's first day. I'll resend the information to our 3-8 students when it is time for them to return.
As a reminder, our Group A students will attend Monday and Tuesday; our Group B students will attend Thursday and Friday.
Can't wait to see our little friends soon!
WEEKLY CALL-OUT MEMO(posted on 10/11/20)
THANK YOU for taking the time to drop off work and pick up packets on Friday. As a reminder, we are quickly approaching the end of the grading period. Please use this next week to turn in any missing assignments.
We are so excited to welcome our Prek- 2nd grade students back the week of October 19th! Your child's teacher should schedule a time to talk with parents about our expectations. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
In preparation for the transition back to school, I would ask that each of you spend some time working with your student to practice wearing a mask for extended periods of time. We will have mask breaks during the day (outdoors and when socially distanced), but they will be expected to wear a mask at all times in the classroom. No exceptions will be made. Reach out to our counselor, Sally Murchison, for access to resources as you practice with your child if you need some extra help. email@example.com
Mrs. Parsons has established a procedure for checking out library books for students in all grade levels. If you are interested in checking out a book, please go to her learning page (located on the Bennett homepage) for details and instructions. If you would like to have your child's book ready for pick-up on October 9th please place the desired book on hold at your earliest convenience.
For information on basic needs, mental health and holiday assistance resources, refer to our "At Home Learning page," scroll down to the link for Mrs. Jamie Allen- Social Worker, and click on the resources link. Information will be updated periodically with important dates and upcoming events. Mrs. Allen's contact information can be found there as well.
Don't forget, our specials teachers will be offering optional zoom meetings daily. Please encourage your child to log in and enjoy time with their teachers and peers.
I hope that everyone has a terrific week!
I am attaching a quick Title 1 Presentation. It lasts about 8-9 minutes and quickly reminds parents that we are considered a “Title 1 School.” If you have questions about what this means, please reach out and let us know. Additionally, I need you to please fill out this quick form that indicates that you received the information:
Next Packet Pickup will be held Oct. 9th 10:00-2:00
