Mrs. Jourdan has lived in Siler City, NC for her entire life. She attended Siler City Elementary, Chatham Middle, and Jordan Matthews High School. After graduating, she attended High Point University. Mrs. Jourdan received her Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Social Studies and Science. She has taught for twenty-six years with certifications in K-6, 6-9 English/Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science, as well as 9-12 Social Studies and Science. She has also coached Varsity cheerleading and sponsored many clubs throughout her career. 

Mrs. Jourdan has three beautiful children; Garrett, Hannah, and Kyle. She is expecting her first grandchild, Jaxson, in September.
