Angela Vanore has been in education for 19 years, nine of which have been in Chatham
County. She started her career as a high school Special Education Teacher. While in Chatham
County, she has taught middle grades English/Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Math.
She earned her masters in Educational Leadership from Western Carolina and was also named
Chatham County’s District Teacher of the Year in 2020. Her hobbies include keeping up with
current events, watching Carolina basketball, and spending time with her family.
