Ms. Anna Blackwell
Anna Blackwell is the social studies teacher for the Chatham Center for Innovation, teaching World History, Civics & Economics, American History I, and American History II. This is her first year of teaching and she is extremely excited to be working at CCI! Anna graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in History and a M.A. in Teaching. Before working at CCI, Anna student taught at Jordan-Matthews High School in Chatham County. She has also served as a volunteer at the Duke Homestead State Historic Site in Durham, NC where she gave tours to the public and worked as a historic interpreter during special events at the site. She is originally from a small town on the NC-VA line called Yanceyville. Anna enjoys traveling (both within the U.S. and to other countries) and spending time with friends and family.
