The Academically or Intellectually Gifted Program (AIG) adheres to a plan called the Chatham County Schools AIG Plan 2013-2016. Our plan is based on the standards created by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and adopted by the North Carolina Board of Education. (North Carolina law requires AIG plans be written and submitted for review every three years.) Within our plan you will find criteria for placement in the AIG program, service delivery methods, and much more. We are happy to assist you at any time. Contact the AIG specialist at your child's school for more information.
