Principal's Message

  • Welcome Back to School from Mr. Bowling….

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! This truly is going to be one to remember. Before we get to that, I wanted to take a moment to say that I hope everyone has been able to have an enjoyable summer, has stayed healthy, and has spent time recharging with family.

Even though we are in unprecedented times, we must push forward with educating our children to the best extent possible. Things will be different this year, and we will follow the Governor’s and the Board of Education’s guidance on how this will look. Please know that we have two jobs in education: 1) to keep kids safe and 2) to make sure students learn. We are going to do those jobs to the best of our ability.

Teachers have been hard at work over the summer getting ready to serve our students and families. Be on the lookout for a new link on our website that will house information for families about assignments, zoom schedules and daily instructional practice opportunities.

Open House/Meet the teacher will be virtual this year. Teachers will post a link to introduce themselves to you. There will be a signup opportunity for each family to meet the teacher digitally for a longer period, probably 10 minutes, to ask any specific questions that you may have.

Information about possible packet pickup, loaner computers, and re-entry to school will come out when available. I look forward to seeing you on zooms at first and in person later. Take care and stay safe.
