Several of our teachers such as Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Beck, Mrs. Vix  and Mrs. Decristofaro have had their students engage in rigorous learning as they participated in "Breakout EDU kits" where students applied learning, knowledge  and collaborative skills to solve problems and figure out how to "breakout" all locks to solve the challenge posed by their teachers.  Students showed how clever and knowledgeable they were and we were SO impressed with them!  Great job RAMS!!

Chatham Middle Highlights

Principal's Message

  • Parents,

In just a few more days, we will begin the End Of Grade Tests. I know our staff has been working hard to ensure our students are prepared for the tests. It will be important that students are present and on time during testing. It is very beneficial for students to take their tests with their peers and not have to make up testing possibly missing out on other fun opportunities planned at the end of the school year such as Field Day. Testing will begin on Friday, May 25th with the Reading EOG. Students will take the Math EOG on Wednesday, May 30th. The Social Studies test will be administered on Thursday, May 31st and the Science EOG will be taken on Friday, June 1st.

Students that do not score a level 3 or better will have another opportunity to re-take the test. The re-test for Reading will be given on Monday, June 11th. The Math will be given on Tuesday, June 12 followed by 8th grade Science on Wednesday, June 13th. Transportation will be provided for students on these days. It will be a regular school day with breakfast and lunch being served. Please encourage your child to do their best during testing. Here are a few test taking tips to review with your child.
