  • Spring Break Reading Challenge:

You’ve been working hard for the last several weeks and adjusting to virtual learning but we want you to put your pens and pencils down and relax just a little bit; it’s time to take a break! Go outside, do some fun activities with your family, and read a book for fun! Reading is a great way to keep your brain active and it's always good to read, even during spring break. To make reading during the break fun and enjoyable, we are having an NCE Spring Break Reading Challenge! Have some fun reading next week then share your completed challenge board with your teacher. If 50% of our students complete the challenge, Mr. Trygar and I will have our face painted as JAGUARS and share that video with all of you!

  • Message to our North Chatham Family

We want to thank our North Chatham family for your patience, flexibility, and support during the past week as we work to keep our students, staff, and larger school family safe and healthy. The impact of the Coronavirus across the US, and the implications for our school and community, have altered our daily routines and school events. Despite these changes, all stakeholders have remained positive and supportive.

In response to Governor Cooper’s announcement Saturday, school will be closed for the next two weeks. Information will be shared regarding at home learning opportunities, laptop deployment, and community food programs once it becomes available. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we secure plans with our district leadership. An additional call will be deployed when learning plans are finalized. Thank you for your patience and continue to read, read, read!

As a reminder, if you haven’t done so already, please complete the preparedness survey below. This information is extremely helpful in our planning.

This program expands access to library resources for increased student success. Your child’s Chatham PASS can help them complete schoolwork and improve reading skills.
